The Good Life Farm provides unique Life & Social Skills programs for vulnerable young people between the ages of 7 and 17, based on  trauma informed practice and attachment theory research and have been developed to support, nurture and assist our most vulnerable and disengaged children & youth.

The program has been successful in reducing a number of challenges such as anxiety, extreme oppositional behaviour, school refusal, over sexualisation, bullying and aggressive behaviour.

This program also assists young people with challenges in life such as social isolation, interaction and communication, focussing on relationship building and ultimately forming the skills required to participate actively within community.

Our standard program is one day per week throughout the Victorian school term – generally 10 weeks in duration from  9.30am – 1.30pm, on location at The Good Life Farm.

Group sizes are generally no larger than 6 young people, and are supported by high staff ratio. (generally 2:1, individual support can be provided)

Our team of youth workers are from diverse backgrounds, holding various qualifications inclusive of psychology, counselling, social work, mental health nursing, community services and residential care youth work – the program is intensive
