RoboFit is a robotic powered rehabilitation centre based in North Wollongong NSW. We work with clients who travel locally, interstate or in their home. Utilising the latest in assistive technology including neuro-controlled exoskeleton working on walking, elbow, knee and ankle joints. This therapy program takes place alongside highly skilled trainers to help individuals with musculoskeletal and neurological disorders (including spinal cord injury, stroke, MS, cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease and Guillain Barre Syndrome) focus on and improve their health and wellbeing.
The team at RoboFit is made up of multi-disciplinary allied health professionals including exercise physiologists and physiotherapists. Taking a person centred approach to health and wellbeing our team works alongside other allied health professional collaboratively to help each client reach their individual goals.
Australia first neuro-controlled exoskeleton technology is available at RoboFit. Helping clients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, harnessing their own signals to move and be assisted by exoskeletons. These movements provide a neuro feedback loop to the brain and can assist with neuroplasticity. Repeated exercises through block style training helps to promote these neural pathways and build strength.
With a range of devices available to assist clients with reaching their goals either in the home, in the clinic or via telehealth.
If you want to begin defining and working towards your goals today contact our team. We work with clients using assistive technology as well as more traditional goal based sessions, with group classes and strength and conditioning programs.
