Kaimana Youth Services provides specialised supports to all children and young people with their specific goals at forefront.
Services at Kaimana are referral based and Kaimana has a team of experienced support workers who are adaptable to any environment, positive role models with resilience, non-judgemental, understanding, dedicated and supportive.
The team of experienced workers, collaborate collectively with the child/young person, their family and professional providers to identify key resources and supports to enable them to develop their skills, independence and confidence.
Services offered:
- Family Group Conferencing (FGC) programs
- Family Support Workers & Supervised Contact Workers
- Mentoring Programs: our Mentors are trained in therapeutic care
- Sports Supports which shows the importance of working in a team environment whilst developing social skills
- Education Supports are developed programs with a partnership focus with schools to assist in education engagement
- Court Supports programs centred around Juvenile Justice and attending all mandatory proceedings
- Alternative Care Arrangements is a 24/7 program. Kaimana’s youth support workers develop structured day to day activities that are safe, therapeutic and nurturing for the child/young persons, creating an environment that is safe and secure.
