Alisoun Neville Expressive Arts Therapy is a registered NDIS Provider. Dr. Alisoun Neville has a Masters of Therapeutic Arts Practice and is a member of ANZACATA and PACFA. She is based in the Eve Wellness Collective in Preston, and practices also in Fairfield, Fitzroy and Doveton College.

Expressive arts therapy is a way to explore and make meaning of your life. Using a mix of imagery, colour, texture, sound, words, sensations and other forms, it can help you to notice and express thoughts and feelings that are difficult to communicate.

Discussion about your work and the art making process can help you gain insight and make sense of your experiences. Alisoun can offer opportunities to work across a range of forms, including the visual arts (e.g. painting, collage, pencils, pastels, textas), poetry, narrative, clay, sandplay, installations, photography, digital drawing, editing and animation, objects, textiles, movement, music, dance and drama.

Remember that you do not need to be an experienced art maker and you do not need to participate in any activities if you do not feel comfortable. She will be guided by you. It does not require skills or experience in making art. When Alisoun's schedule is full she may be able to offer support through her new team member, Sally Dalton, who also has a Masters in Therapeutic Arts Practice. Alisoun and Sally are working together to launch Alisoun's new business, Crayons and Stuff, which aims to support and strengthen mental health practices that can respond more effectively to the impacts of our society and its systems.
