The new Recovery Coach role newly introduced by the NDIS is designed to provide support to people with a psychosocial disability to increase their independence, social participation and economic participation.

A recovery coach will assist you to take more control of your life and to better manage complex challenges of day to day living. Through coaching, you will be supported to build capacity. Recovery coaches will work collaboratively with you, your family and carers to design, plan, implement and review a recovery plan.
