Nightlife Disability Services

Nightlife was started by people with a disability and their families and carers in response to gaps in overnight supports. This meant people with physical disabilities faced 7pm bedtimes and had to rely on families or enter congregate care. Initially starting the first Victorian mobile night service, Nightlife values the lived experience of our service users in everything we do. Nightlife is a registered NDIS provider and works in partnership with hospitals, palliative and specialist care providers to provide innovative solutions so people can remain at home. Today we deliver supports 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

Supports include:

• Mobile night support 6pm – 5 am
• Complex and high intensity supports
• Community nursing
• Personal care
• 24/7 and SIL supports
• Meals assistance
• Community Access
• Support Coordination

We also support people who face physical barriers as a result of ageing, palliative care and working in partnership with SIL services and other providers to provide a second night time carer. Our staff are credentialled in all areas of bowel, catheter, PEG, Dysphagia and Mealtime Support.
