Participants with a disability who are unable to use public transport or private can use this service to access taxis, rideshares, community vehicles, and other appropriate transport methods. In some cases, a support worker can accompany participants with their travel needs through public transport or their vehicle. This service also allows participants to develop skills in using public transport independently.
 
Generous Support provides 'Household Task' to participants with a disability to keep the inside and outside of their home environment clean and healthy. We assist participants with maintaining their environment regularly. This includes:
  • Meal planning and preparation,
  • Home and yard maintenance such as gardening and lawn mowing,
  • Cleaning of the bathroom, kitchen, toilet, living areas and bedroom, and in-home laundry,
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting, and dishwashing,

Generous Support provides ‘High-Intensity Daily Personal Activities’ to participants with a disability to assist with their daily tasks and make them achievable while allowing them to live independently. This service is provided by a worker with additional qualifications and experience relevant to the complexity of their needs. It can be provided in the comfort of their own home but can also be provided in a range of different environments.

Participants with a disability will be supported with this service by providing them training and development skills that can increase their ability to live independently and achieve their personal goals. The development skills includes:

  • Meal preparation and shopping,
  • Toilet training, showing and hygienic care
  • Performing household tasks

Generous Support provides ‘Assistance with Daily Tasks Shared Living’ service to support participants with a disability to live autonomously. Daily activities include

  • Household tasks for independent living
  • Shared living arrangement
  • Short-term residency.

Participants with a disability will be assisted while participating in the community, social, and civic activities and will be encouraged to partake in these activities. This enables participants in things they enjoy doing, such as shopping, visiting a library and/ or just taking time out to visit a café with family and/or friends. Participating with the community is important for well-being and gains opportunities for connections.
