Claire's Cottage

At Claire's Cottage, our mission is to help assimilate our participants into the community so as to be seen as valued members of society. We achieve this by supporting the development of independent living and social skills, encouraging individual interests and promoting positive experiences in all of these endeavors.

All of our services are planned around catering to our participants interests, including their long term passions as well as changing interests. Our flexible day program offers the opportunity for our participants to pursue activities that will ensure their enjoyment and engagement while also developing important life and independent living skills.

Claire's Cottage operates out of a comfortable and homely 3 bedroom house that caters for up to 4 participants for short term respite accommodation. This provides the opportunity for groups of friends to attend together to maximise their enjoyment. Whether there are 1 or 4 guests, our supportive staff are available to them throughout their stay and will ensure they are comfortable and enjoying them selves by planning activities based on what they enjoy or feel like doing during each stay.

Our weekend program is primarily a focused on social interaction, allowing our participants to engage with their friends freely and comfortably, as all young adults should have the opportunity to do. The activities we plan are based solely on their interests, and gauged by conversations we have with them. We would love you to join our family and share your interests with us too!
